Super Chickan and Zak Hood Free Concert in Tunica

On October 3rd Bridging the Blues will connect the week between the Highway 61 Blues Festival and King Biscuit Blues Festival with dozens of incredible blues events across Arkansas, the Mississippi Delta, and Memphis. Among those official events is possibly the first social media driven blues event in the world: the #BridgingTheBlues” #BluesTweetUp  at the beautiful site of the Gateway to the Blues in Tunica, Mississippi — an ancient train station turned into a bluesy gift shop and valuable delta tourism resource.

Watch Sinbad’s Visit to The Funny Bone on Tunica TV

If you need a few laughs to brighten up your day, check out Sinbad’s recent visit to Tunica on Tunica TV. The comedian was at The Funny Bone Comedy Club at Harrah’s Tunica in May, and we were left in tears from laughing so hard.
The Funny Bone at Harrah’s is Tunica’s only comedy club. It’s not uncommon for headliners like Sinbad to visit The Funny Bone. Jim Carrey and Steve Harvey are past performers, and former “Saturday Night Live” cast member Tim Meadows will perform at the club September 14-16. There are performances at The Funny Bone most Tuesday through Sunday nights, so check The Funny Bone website for a complete schedule of upcoming performances.
If you missed out on Sinbad’s performance, watch a clip of his routine and interview with Tunica TV. We especially appreciated that he took some time to recall the early days of Tunica.
