Our Story: The Tunica Miracle
In 1990, the Mississippi Legislature legalized gaming in the state, and the industry became an engine for economic development within Tunica County. The gaming industry created jobs and continues to help our economy with local and state tax revenue. The first property to open was Splash Casino in 1992 in the southern part of the county at Mhoon Landing.
