Today Vision Airlines launched low-fare, nonstop air service between Tunica Airport (UTM) and the Northwest Florida International Airport in Destin/Ft. Walton Beach, FL (VPS). The airline will operate five flights a week to Destin, using a 30 passenger Dornier 328 turbo-prop aircraft. Parking will be free for passengers flying to and from the Tunica Airport.
Passengers flying from the Tunica Airport will also be able to connect through Destin/Ft. Walton Beach to Baton Rouge, LA and Las Vegas, NV.
“We’re excited to welcome Vision Airlines and residents of the Florida Panhandle to the Tunica family,” said Cliff Nash, Executive Director of the Tunica Municipal Airport. “This new partnership will open Tunica to a whole new audience and provide fast, low-cost service to a destination that Memphis and Tunica travelers love to visit.”
