Gold Strike Casino Resort will welcome acclaimed comedian, actor and Saturday Night Live alum, Jon Lovitz at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026.

A beloved comedic talent for more than three decades, Jon Lovitz has built a celebrated career across television, film, theater and stand-up.

Lovitz got his big break after joining the famed improv troupe The Groundlings in 1982, earning a spot in the main company. In 1985, he debuted his now-iconic character Tommy Flanagan of the Pathological Liars Anonymous in a breakthrough, career-changing performance on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.”

The performance launched a wave of opportunities, including film, television roles, voiceover work and a cast position on “Saturday Night Live.” During his two seasons on SNL, he earned back-to-back Emmy nominations and created memorable characters such as Tommy Flanagan, Master Thespian, Hanukkah Harry and the Devil.

Lovitz has appeared in more than 40 films. Tickets start at $39.50 and go on sale Dec 5.
