The Memphis International Airport is about a half-hour away from the Tunica Resort area.
Tunica hotels do not offer a shuttle to and from the airport but groups may arrange to have a shuttle service hired for airport pick-ups. The Tunica Convention and Visitor’s Bureau staff would be happy to assist you with receiving additional information for your group. There is also Blues City Tours, which offers area shuttle services, airport shuttle service and sightseeing tour services. They can be reached at 662-357-9609. The weather in Tunica is Southern – hot in the summer, cool and breezy in the winter. Fall and spring are magnificent. On average, we get 54 inches of rain. After your meeting sessions, there are plenty of activities to keep you busy in Tunica Resorts! In the resort area, we offer gaming, golf, as well as shopping. In addition, be sure to check out the area museums including the all new Gateway to the Blues museum and the Tunica RiverPark located right on the banks of the Mississippi River. In the town of Tunica, find out about the history of the area at the Tunica Museum or check out some of our local shopping. The Bureau staff would be happy to assist you with the planning of social events and activities while you are in the area.
