If you’re in a casino that has slot games on the Pro Wave cabinet from the Bally Technologies division of Scientific Games, you can’t miss it. The Pro Wave is a eye-catcher, with a giant 40-inch, curved main screen for high-resolution graphics.
The latest wrinkle is that Bally has placed a bonus wheel atop the cabinet, a high-definition, 1080-pixel beauty that makes it even more of an attention grabber.
The Pro Wave with Digital Wheel is making its debut with two games, Triple Cash Wheel featuring Quick Hit, and Triple Cash Wheel Black & White featuring Quick Hit. Bally is rolling out some heavy hitters here, expanding the line of some of its most popular games and features. Black & White has been a durable favorite on both three-reel and five-wheel slots. Quick Hit symbols bring rapid progressive awards, and the Cash Wheel adds bonus fun.
On the Pro Wave with Digital Wheel version, there are three sets of five video reels, stacked one on top of the next. As you look down the screen, you see one five-reel slot game being played, then another, and another. Combining the three, there are 60 paylines in all.
Three Cash Wheel symbols launch the wheel spin bonus. The event starts with a grid of 21 tiles, and you touch the screen to uncover tiles until you reveal three matching symbols. Your match will tell you whether you get one, two or three spins. You also could uncover a 3x multiplier, to triple your wins on the wheel.
You’ll get a wheel spin an average of once per 72 spins, and on average will win 21 times your bet, though there’s plenty of room for both smaller wins and much larger jackpots.
There’s also a free spin bonus, where winnings on your 10 spins are tripled, and there are the Quick Hit symbols that lead to five levels of progressive jackpots, from a few dollars to thousands.
On average, you’ll get something back on a little less than 65 percent of spins, though many of those pays will be smaller than your bet. When the bonuses are flowing, the wheel is spinning and the Quick Hits are hitting, there’s the chance to win big.
