Jerry “The King” Lawler Museum Opens at Resorts Tunica

If you live in Memphis then you know the name Jerry “The King” Lawler.  If you don’t know who he is, Jerry Lawler is famous in the wrestling world and has more championships than any WWE wrestler. Why are we talking about the second king that has come out of Memphis? Well Resorts Casino Tunica opened the Jerry “The King” Lawler museum this weekend.

Over 1,000 wrestling fans turned out for the event. Fans had the opportunity to talk to Lawler one on one and get an autograph as well as tour the new museum. The museum consists of several hundred items from Lawler’s personal collection of championship belts, costumes, photos and wrestling memorabilia. The museum will also feature his past matches on two tv’s that run continuously.  The museum is located on the second floor of Resorts Casino Tunica and is open 365 days a year 24 hours a day and admission is FREE.

In case you weren’t able to make the grand opening we have a video of it for you –
