Stir Crazy this Christmas? Visit Tunica!

Stir Crazy this Christmas? Visit Tunica!

For many families, a trip to Tunica at Christmastime is a tradition. Because most businesses are closed on Christmas, and the crazy shoppers are in full force making returns December 26, Tunica is your destination for relaxed fun that’s only a car ride away.
Oh, and a quick update about me: During the holidays in 2010, I provided you with some escape routes from crazy families during the holiday week. I hope you’ll be happy to know that we’ve bought my grandma an iPod to prevent her from asking us to sing song requests, and my sister has come to terms with the fact that *I AM* our mother’s favorite.

Anyway, with our new family unity in mind, I came to the realization that Tunica isn’t just an escape route from a wacky family on
Christmas. It’s also a retreat that keeps you from feeling stir crazy inside the house, and somewhere you can have fun with a large or small family.

Why not use this time in Tunica to teach your mom how to shoot craps? Or help grandpa brush up on his poker skills with free lessons that are offered in many of Tunica’s poker rooms? At the slots, have a comped drink or two and catch up with some of the family members you haven’t spent a lot of time with over the holiday.

At the Fitz, guests will receive 10x point value when using their Key Rewards card in a slot machine between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Hollywood Casino’s Fast $500 Hot Seat will begin on Christmas and end December 30. Every 15 minutes from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., a random Players Card user will be selected to win $500 in Free SlotPlay or FreeBets. Tunica Roadhouse is giving players yet another reason to hope for a white Christmas this year. When swiping your Total Reward card December 26, you will receive one free entry into the Cool Winnings Drawing. Up to twenty winners could receive a piece of $2,500 each day. If the temperature outside is below 60 degrees, the prize will be doubled! Read our December promotions post to learn about more Tunica promotions in December.
