Now’s the Time to Practice Your Shooting Skills at Willows

Deer season is beginning across the Delta, and the team at Willows Sporting Clays and Hunting Center at Harrah’s is ready to help you prepare.

Willows sits inside the Mississippi River levee and provides opportunities for hunters enjoy the great outdoors while on their Tunica vacation. Across 660 acres, Willows’ natural wildlife settings include wetlands and forests.

At Willows guided deer hunts, experienced guides and personal instructors will help you develop your hunting skills in a real hunting environment. Guides and dogs are also available for quail and dove hunts. If you’re a duck hunter, read about Tunica CVB President and CEO Webster Franklin’s experience duck hunting in Tunica to learn more about opportunities to duck hunt while you’re in town.

If you want to try a simulated experience before you head into the wild, there are many ways to get some more practice in with trap and skeet and at the rifle and pistol shooting range. Like all of the hunting experiences at Willows, the 14 automated sporting clay shooting stations can accommodate various levels of hunting skills. Targets can be shot in rounds of 25, 50 and 100 on two automated courses. Duck flush, which allows a team to hit 75 targets in 90 seconds, 5-stand and full shoot around are fun side games that change up the usual hunting experience.

For outdoorsmen, Willows is a popular place to bond and enjoy the outdoors during a large family outing, a church men’s retreat or even a corporate outing. For discounted rates for groups of 20 or more, call Willows at (662) 357-3154.
