Casino Spotlight: Bar Hopping at Harrah’s

Casino Spotlight: Bar Hopping at Harrah’s

As I mentioned in my last post, Harrah’s Tunica doesn’t have a shortage of options. And one place I like to have variety is in where I can unwind with a cold drink. While taking a break from blackjack or the dance floor, Harrah’s can supply you with your favorite cocktail. Here are few of my favorite spots to grab a drink at Harrah’s:

Our first stop can be found just off the casino floor at Sphere. Sphere has a wide selection of traditional and signature cocktails, beer and wine, and video slots can be played right at the bar. In between playing the slots or gaming tables, I always visit Sphere to meet fellow players and discuss gaming strategy.

Harrah’s is one of my favorite spots to hit during the summertime, because they keep the party going outside. But because Tunica is in the heart of the southern heat, life is always better when a pool is nearby. So next, we’ll head outside to Harrah’s Terrace Hotel pool area. At the Heatwave Pool Party, you can work on your tan and have a drink while dancing to DJ BCon’s mixes. The parties are every Saturday until Labor Day weekend from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

After your dip in the pool, head back inside for some laughs at the Funny Bone. The Funny Bone is Harrah’s in-house comedy club, and sometimes my friends and I head down just for the show. Tuesday through Sunday, you can hear punch lines in the same venue where names like Jim Carrey, Cedric the Entertainer, Rosanne Barr and Jay Leno have performed. Sinbad recently performed at the Funny Bone and took time to chat with Tunica TV. Click here to check it out.

Visit the Harrah’s website for a schedule of performances at the Funny Bone.

Those looking for a little late-night excitement should check out PUSH. PUSH is Tunica’s premier nightclub experience, and with its pulsing music and state-of-the-art video and lighting displas, PUSH rivals any L.A. or Miami destination. Look out for celebrity events; Kourtney Kardashian and Holly Madison have appeared this Tunica hot spot. Here’s a tip: be an early bird and arrive before 11 p.m. and get $10 off the late night $20 admission fee. If you’re interested in a PUSH VIP experience, you can book online. For $350, you’ll get a package includes gratuity, seven VIP wristbands, a private VIP area and 14 beverage vouchers.

So whether you’re a dancer, a laugher or come strictly for the gaming, Harrah’s has the place for you to let loose with a drink in hand. Next time, I’ll tell you about a few of the recreational experiences available at Harrah’s Tunica.
