Tunica is open! We may not be at 100% yet, but then again who is after Ol’ Man River punches you in the gut! The Mighty Mississippi tried it’s best to keep us down, but didn’t bet on the resilience of a great state like Mississippi.
We are happy to announce that all three casino properties at Casino Center Blvd. will be open for business this week! Day and times of reopenings are:
Gold Strike Casino Resort ~ Wednesday, May 18 at 10 a.m.
Tunica Roadhouse Casino & Hotel ~ Thursday, May 19 at 2 p.m.
Horseshoe Casino & Hotel ~ Friday, May 20 at 4 p.m.
While this is only three of our nine world-class casinos, we’re putting our money on all being open again very soon. The only thing we want to see flowing around here are the free drinks!
Plus there are many other businesses that have remained open including Veranda and Terrace Hotels at Harrah’s property on the protected side of the levee, the Harrah’s Convention Center, the Bellissimo Spa at Harrah’s, Cottonwoods Golf Course, Tunica National Golf & Tennis, Casino Factory Shoppes, Town of Tunica Main Street, and all locally-owned hotels. For more info on everything there is to do in Tunica, visit TunicaTravel.com.
The Mississippi River should know it takes more than a 100-year flood to wash away a world-class destination, so come live it up just down the road today!
Continue to check back here on our blog, Facebook, Twitter or at TunicaTravel.com for updates on additional casino opening dates. Thanks for your patience! We can’t wait to see you all again very soon!
