Tunica is Still Open!

I am sure you all have seen the news of the rising Mississippi River and it’s affect on Tunica and the Casino Industry. While these have been a difficult couple of weeks, there are a lot of things still happening in the area.

This weekend Harrah’s Tunica will host Showfest. ShowFest is a national auto show that highlights top quality show vehicles competing for top honors.  Over 600 vehicles participate that are available for viewing at the show, including Show trucks, custom cars, classic cars, classic trucks, mini trucks, 4 wheel drives, Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Pro Street, custom SUVs, motorcycles and lowriders. If you’re a motorhead, then you don’t want to miss out on this event.

The Memphis in May Triathlon will take place on May 21 also at Harrah’s Tunica. Come on out and support your favorite athelete or just to watch the action.

If you’re a shopper, don’t fret! The Casino Factory Shoppes have not been affected by the flood and are still open and have great deals on items for the whole family.

It’s also a perfect time of year for a round of golf here in Tunica.  Tunica National Golf & Tennis and Cottonwoods golf courses are open and the greens are in great shape. Book your tee-time today.

The Tunica Arena will be hosting the Central States Peruvian Horse Show May 13-15.  Show will begin at 8 am each day and admission is free.
