Spring into Something New in Tunica

Spring into Something New in Tunica

The signs of spring were abundant this past weekend in Tunica.  The weather was gorgeous!  While walking the dog, I came across blooming irises and tulips, a baby turtle and a cardinal.  All these things reminded me that it’s the time for renewal and probably a little spring-cleaning.  Typically, I associate spring-cleaning with dusting the blinds, washing the windows and rearranging the furniture, but this year, I’m all about working on cleaning out my closets.

I’m going to donate my outdated turtlenecks and that dress that I haven’t worn for two years to charity and start fresh by heading just down the road to the Casino Factory Shoppes for a serious outlet-shopping spree. With stores like Gap Outlet, Van Heusen, Reebok, Rack Room Shoes, Carter’s Childrenswear and Izod, I’m sure I’ll find great deals for my whole family!  Click here for a complete list of stores at Casino Factory Shoppes.

Then I’ll head down Highway 61 to Twelve Fifty One Apparel for some super cute accessories and a brand new spring outfit.  While I’m near Downtown Tunica, I’ll have to stroll down Main Street for some antique shopping at Ann-tiques, as well as a great Mississippi Delta item at The Levee Shack inside Tunica Pharmacy.  Read all about Travel Tunica’s shopping excursion in Downtown Tunica here.

Here’s to OUT with the OLD and IN with the NEW, especially when it concerns my wardrobe!  To see all of the shopping that Tunica has to offer, click here.
