This year, the Grizzlies celebrate 10 seasons of calling Memphis home, and it’s the perfect time to acknowledge those partners who have helped make the last decade such a great one. Just as the Grizz faithful come from all over the MidSouth, our partnerships stretch across the region, and no one has been as valuable – or as fun – as our friends down the road in Tunica.

Harrah’s has been a part of the Grizzlies family since our very first tip-off, and if you’re a fan, you probably know that Gold Strike Casino Resort is the presenting sponsor for our ever-popular Grizz Girls. This past year, Gold Strike took it one step further and hosted our Grizz Girls Finals, where we selected the final group of talented ladies that entertain thousands of basketball fans at the FedExForum on game nights and in the community. For the past two years, we’ve partnered with Gold Strike Casino Resort for our Grizz Gala, which is our biggest fundraiser of the year and benefits the Grizzlies House at St. Jude. It’s an honor for our entire organization to work with Gold Strike on an event that benefits so many children and their families, and the Grizz Gala is quickly becoming one of our favorite traditions. Fans get a chance to mingle with the players while supporting a worthy cause, and players get to show the Grizz faithful a true Tunica experience.

As the regular season winds down and we gear up for a possible playoff run, we hope you’ll come and watch us in action. And if you can’t catch a game in person, we know there are plenty of Tunica hotspots that will be showing our broadcasts. And next time you’re in Tunica, you just might see us there!
