The World Series of Poker is the longest-running, largest, richest, and most prestigious gaming event in the world, and it will be in Tunica soon! This marks the sixth season of WSOP Circuits, which are played at Harrah’s properties throughout the United States. Harrah’s Tunica is the fifth of eleven WSOP Circuit stops scheduled this season. Circuit stops in Chicago, Southern Indiana, Lake Tahoe, and Atlantic City have already completed.
The winner of the WSOP in the main event in Tunica will get a free $10,000 seat to the WSOP main event in Las Vegas as well as a portion of the buy-ins in Tunica. Last year’s winner won more than $139,000. Buy-ins for the Tunica WSOP events range from $120 to $1,600. The World Series of Poker starts at Harrah’s Tunica January 27 and continues through February 10th, 2010. Players can sign up for poker events by going to the Harrah’s Tunica Event Center or by calling 1-800-946-4946.
