Travel Tunica Struck Gold at Chicago Steakhouse

Travel Tunica Struck Gold at Chicago Steakhouse

While in Tunica, you won’t be lacking for a great dining experience as Lisa & I found out at Gold Strike’s Chicago Steakhouse!  I’m not always a regular patron of our local steakhouses because I most often think that they’re for special occasions, when I am looking to gorge myself on a juicy steak with some great wine.  But sometimes in the middle of the week or when you’re looking to sit at gaming table for a few hours, you want a meal that’s not too heavy.

So a friend of ours suggested we head to the bar at Chicago Steakhouse.  The bar’s just long enough for a group of four and we didn’t have to wait too long for a seat.  The best part about sitting at the bar is your drink is never empty!

We ordered an appetizer sampler off the menu that included Kobe Style Short Rib, Kobe Style Flat Iron Steak and Kurobota Pork Baby Back Ribs.  The best way to describe it was “Oh My Gosh!”  The presentation was gorgeous, and the meat literally melted in my mouth.

Since we ordered an appetizer as our meal, it was a must to have dessert.  I’ve always heard that Chicago Steakhouse is known for Bananas Foster. Boy, did we get to see the show!  The Steakhouse Manager, Andreas, rolled out the flambé table & began his artistic creation.  It was as good as seeing a fireworks show with the “Oooo’s” & “Ahhh’s” running through my head.  The best thing about Bananas Foster is that we were able to appreciate it with multiple senses.  The show was visually great, the smells while it cooked were divine, and the taste made me want to lick the bowl clean.  It probably goes without saying, but I highly recommend heading to Gold Strike’s Chicago Steakhouse.
