It’s football season! That means every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday there is a big game on TV. For those of you who will be in Tunica hitting the slots all weekend (or those of you who don’t have the NFL package like me and still want to see the big game on big TVs), Travel Tunica decided you need to know where to catch the game if you aren’t at home.
Bally’s–The Saloon – 1-866-422-5597
Right off of the casino floor at Bally’s, you will definitely be able to see the game. You’ll find the largest HD TV in Tunica measured not in inches, but feet, standing 9 feet tall by16 feet wide. You can also catch game day food such as hotdogs, popcorn, and of course, beer with a selection of more than 20 draft brews.
Fitz–Stage Bar – 1-800-766-5825
The Fitz bar features flat screen TVs, a traditional stool bar setting, and casino floor setting with great appetizers like cheeseburger sliders to watch the game while staying close to the gaming action.
Gold Strike–Liquid Assets – 1-888-245-7529
Liquid Assets is located off of the casino floor in a chic modern setting with a long bar and couches for relaxing. The Lemon Drop martini is my favorite at Liquid Assets, but football watchers most likely will want beer and big TVs… two things you’ll definitely find here.
Harrah’s–Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill – 1-800-946-4946
Travel Tunica agrees that you’ll love this bar, since we were the first customers a few weeks ago and loved it ourselves. Here you’ll find big screen TVs in every direction, more yee-haw great food choices that any other bar in Tunica, and boot stomping, country line dancing servers to bring you any type of drink imaginable. Don’t forget to check out the stage entertainment with up and coming acts, the mechanical bull in back, or the Toby Keith memorabilia in every direction.
Roadhouse–Casino Floor Bar – 1-800-391-3777
For a place to get the real roadhouse feel when watching the game, Tunica Roadhouse is located off of the casino floor and has a mechanical bull named Whisky. You’ll see Jack Daniels barrels used for tables and distressed wood floors that look like line dancing is the norm at night. This bar has dozens of TVs and is more intimate.
Sam’s Town–Roxy’s Live – 1-800-456-0711
Roxy’s Live was just renovated recently adding more TVs to watch the big game. You can also see up and coming acts on the Roxy’s Live stage at night.
The Lounge Tunica – (662) 363-5787
The Lounge, which is near Fitz Casino & Hotel, is ultra sleek and modern with sophisticated drinks at affordable prices. Featured acts appear regularly at The Lounge including Bobby Rush and other blues and R & B singers. Owner, Edward Taylor, says The Lounge is the perfect meeting place to unwind. Check out more information HERE.
Tunica National Golf & Tennis – 1-866-833-6331
The TVs are smaller for watching the game, but the bartenders really know how to pour a great drink. The bar also overlooks the indoor clay tennis courts, so you can see the big game as well as a good game of tennis. Check out more information and driving directions HERE.
The above casinos and sports bars are places that market to visitors, “Come watch the big game!” If we’ve left any great places off the list, comment to let us know, and we’ll add them.
